Sometimes it is difficult to know which perfumes are sustainable. To make the search for these perfumes easier, we have made an overview of animal-proof and vegan perfumes for you.

Cruelty-free perfumes

What does cruelty-free perfume actually mean? Very simply it means that products are not tested on animals. Not for the ingredients and nor the end product. In Europe it is now forbidden to test on animals, but it is still required by the Chinese government. What does this mean? When a brand is also active on the Chinese market, they cannot be free of animal testing.

Vegan perfumes

When a perfume is vegan, this means that no ingredients are used that come from animals and have not been tested on animals. You also have vegetarian cosmetics, which means that no ingredients have been used from animals, but it is possible that animals have been tested.
