Martijn (29), founder of Parfumado, has been the biggest perfume-lover for years. After finishing his studies, Martijn started working for a small niche brand called YVRA 1958. Since then, he can be called a true perfume head. He started Parfumado with the idea to make the search for perfume more personal, easier and more exclusive. In this blog, you will find out what Martijn's favourite perfumes are.

Reminds me of...

Classic cologne like in a barbershop, but slightly woodier. In my opinion, a perfume that nobody does NOT like!

Smells like ...

Citrus, almost like an anti-mosquito, and gets more woody with its drydown.

Reminds me of...

Summer vacation, beachy. Also contains something milky, just like the popular Santal 33 from Le Labo! I really like sandalwood by the way. Does well as a fresh perfume in the fall/winter seasons.

Smells like ...

As the title says, sandalwood! That is woody, soft, almost soothing. The musk also makes it clean.

Reminds me of...

What a discovery this has been for me! Green, bergamot, citrus - everything I love, and also with sufficient body to be present in a room full of people! Absolutely love this one.

Reminds me of...

Something subtle. Not necessarily present, fresh, accessible... Vague, right? Haha, I know. Obviously this is something in the citrus/woody area again.

Smells like ...

Combination of something sharp, something synthetic and citrus. Some might find it a bit 'dusty', but this perfume is so good. Think of a gin tonic, in the spring... in Copenhagen, or some other trendy city!

Reminds me of...

Molecule 01 from Escentric Molecules. Also based on molecules, perfect for mixing with another perfume. This is really worth trying if you are looking for something special that is sophisticated and warm.

Smells like ...

Ambroxan, the molecule that radiates heat and is also sexy. If you like molecule 01 you should try this and otherwise :)
